On Getting the Profound

Lonely days bring detestable experience along. But to stop there is to dive into half-truths.

The moments that the deepest of silence crept were the moments that allowed the birth of the greatest thoughts. There could be a reward in choosing to enjoy the darkness, by making a deliberate decision to think of sources of light as out of reach.

Happiness is good. It is an aspiration of every one. Millions read books and listen to talks on how to attain that state, of ultimate happiness.

But think about it, that very state that all of us aspire to get carries with it enormous potential to deny us the creative thought. It carries with it the ability to keep us away from looking into our inside and discover who we are.

And besides today’s point, I saw something very interesting from my friend’s facebook profile. I thought it was profound, it read “~A person who truly loves you is someone who sees the pain in your eyes while everyone else believes in the smile on your face~”
