I got up to nothing today. So I almost through the I wouldn’t be writing up my post. Partly because time to write is basically triggered by a boring preacher, so to make most of my time I do write.

But today’s different. Yesterday I tried to flex my muscles and see if I can make meaning of love. That fantasy I don’t really get. And true to my nature I got nothing to take home. So the stressing moments were at their best to day.

To cover up for church, I however tuned into bethel music. And that’s where I found a beautiful song. Closer.

I ain’t a fun of love themed songs for many reasons. But this was different. Simply, it reminds me of how deep rooted I’m to God. I hate that he hasn’t proved many things I thought he would have by now. But he keeps me so much attached to him. I just can’t explain why I love and hate at the same time.

I have played this song on and on today. And it’s taking me to the days I had a song for the season. And I’m in love with it. If his love is that deep, that relentless, and not giving up, I think I need to tell him to pull me little closer. I want to sincerely know his heart. Not for the things he has done. But for the strength I draw from him. That love must be so strong to keep pulling me. To make I me forget a thousand hills of stressful moments. And give me a taste of the beauty of life.

I don’t feel like the confusion I have will meek me share with anybody about him. But I want to cherish the love moment. To say that I have been taken over. The promise to to be with him forever to stay in my heart. He has ravished my heart, and I wanna know his heart. Maybe I can find my self in him again. And not for then healing, but to know why I’m what I am.
